Day 6: Gratitude For My Job

Dear Gratitude,

Today's gratitude practice of The Magic is called "Works Like Magic".  It is about being grateful for my job, and finding something about my job that I am grateful for.  Today, while at work, I am to image that I have an invisible manager that follows me around taking notes every time I find something to be grateful for.  I am to find as many things as I can to be grateful for about my job.

I am grateful for ......................(state what it is that I am grateful for).

I take the invisible manager to be God.  I thank him for the so many things about my job that I am deeply grateful for.

The missing link to success is gratitude.  According to the Law Of Attraction (LOA), we have to be grateful for what we have in order to attract more success.  Without gratitude, it is impossible to have permanent success.  We control the amount (of anything) we receive, by the amount of gratitude we give.

Being grateful for our job will bring more things for us to be grateful about, like success, opportunities, promotions, money, brilliant ideas, inspirations, creativity and appreciation.  Being grateful will also make us give more to our work, and thus increase money and success.

If we are ungrateful, we will give less, and in return receive less.  Our jobs will stagnate, deteriorate, we will not have creative ideas, and eventually lose the job.  The Holy Scriptures say that those who do not have (gratitude), even what they have will be taken away from them.

For a business owner, the value of the business will increase or decrease proportionately to the amount of gratitude.  When gratitude is replaced with worry and anxiety about "what next?, the business spirals downwards.

We should love our job and no matter what, be excited about it.  Even if the job is not our dream job, gratitude and giving our best to our current job will open the doors for our dream job.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU FOR MY JOB

One of the best thing about my job is that I get to travel to many parts of the world.  Some of them are:

Dancing with the Masai people in Kenya, East Africa.

Amazed by animals only seen in books and television - lions, zebras, giraffes, flemingos and many more at Lake Nakuru National Park, Kenya.

Observing a Buddhist offering in Thailand.

Attending APEC Trade meetings, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore

Amazed by snowfall in Japan.  My first time to see snow fall.  I will never forget the awe of standing in the snow.  Beautiful!

Fulfillment of Childhood Dream
I am grateful for my current job because I was able to save some money and fulfill a childhood dream which at that time was impossible.  I went to a place I love, a place that means so much to me, the place where the roots of my faith is - The Holy Land.  I went, not once but twice.  I blessed them and was blessed in return.  A total of almost 8 two months in total.  Thank you, thank you, thank you.  The next time, I am going with my daughter.

Collecting salt at the lowest place on earth, The Dead Sea.  What an amazing place!

Standing for and with Israel, in prayer, in person, carrying my country's flag, to show them that I love them despite what the world thinks.  And I am not ashamed to declared this!

Enjoying the afternoon in the desert - Beersheva.

Count My Blessings
Counted my 10 blessings for today, written in the notebook.

Magic Rock
The best thing that happened to me today was that Lydia went back to school.  Did not complain when she returned in the afternoon.

Gratefully yours,

Kejanny
