THE MAGICAL WAY OUT OF NEGATIVITY
 |
Flower from my garden - Kejanny |
According to The Magic, negative situations arise because of a lack of gratitude over a long period of time. Whether it is a strained relationship, financial turmoil, a lack of health, problems in my job or any negative situation, they come about because I am not grateful for those things in my life and are taking them for granted. Taking things for granted is a major cause for negativity because when we are not thankful, grateful or appreciative for those those things, we stop more good things happening in our lives.
Taking things for granted results in complaining, negative thoughts and words. When we complain, our complaints bring more things into our lives for which we will complain more.
I realized that each day, I tend to complain about many things and speak negative without realizing that I am actually pushing my dream life away with every complaint. The following are some examples:
- Complaining about the traffic when driving to work
- Complaining about the weather
- Complaining and talking negative or listening to negative talks about work issues, my boss or other colleagues
- Complaining about waiting in lines
- Complaining about bills
- Complaining about the poor service of a government department or company
- Complaining about children not doing things right in the house
- Complaining about the economy and cost of living
- Complaining about rubbish and filth, etc
"It is impossible to complain, criticize, blame and be negative when one is grateful. The power of gratitude is greater than any negative situation. To change things around, one has to look for things to be grateful about in any negative situation. When we are more grateful about those things, we will have a clear mind on how to deal with the negative situation. By the LOA, we will attract more things to be grateful about, thus turning the situation around" - The Magic.
We can tell our gratitude is working by the way that we feel.
To resolve any negative situation, focus and concentrate on gratitude until you feel better inside, then you will see the magic work its wonder on the outside.
My practice for today therefore involved a relationship in turmoil (a negative situation) that I really want resolved. I therefore listed down 10 things that I am grateful for in that relationship - listed in my gratitude notebook.
"I am deeply grateful for ...........................(finishing the sentence with what I am grateful about).
At the end of the list, I write...
"Thank you, thank you, thank you for the perfect resolution".
Watching My Words Challenge!
Words are powerful! And the member of the body that utters them - the tongue - is small but can do great damage to our lives. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. And our destiny is settled by our words.
Every negative words we speak is like a flame of fire, that can destroy a forest. Negative words, complains, gossips are like a toxic poison that kills. Not only that but by the Law of Attraction, we attract more and more of those negative things to us.
My challenge is to watch my words (or set a guard over my mouth) so that I don't say anything negative for a day!
If I notice that I'm speaking negative, I must stop immediately and say; "But I have to say I am really grateful for......................"
Tame the tongue, bridle the tongue....James 3.
My Gratitude Flag

I realize that one medium I use to text or say negative things towards those that I love is the phone. The resolution I had today for this practice was to tie a gratitude flag on my phone. So every time I am texting or talking on the phone, I will see the gratitude flag which will remind me to Watch my Words and Not to say anything negative.
This is the picture of my gratitude flag - ropes in colors blue, red and green tied to my phone cover today.
Gratefully yours,
Kejanny
