Dear Gratitude,
I feel wonderful today. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Yesterday, my gratitude practice was Magic Health, which I did. I was not able to post in this blog what I did until today. Lydia and I went to the hospital for my review. After that she helped me did grocery shopping. I am deeply grateful for my daughter.
"The greatest wealth is health" Virgil (70 BC - 19 BC BC) Roman Poet
Health is the most precious thing in life, and yet, we take our health for granted. We only realize this and think about our health when we lose it.
Health is a gift of life! In order to continue receiving more health, we must be grateful to receive more. Giving thanks to God in return for the health we are receiving is vital to receive more. The Bible says, "In all things, give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you". Jesus healed 10 lepers, 9 were ungrateful, only one grateful leper came back to give thanks.
The gratitude practice I've been doing so far, and the Magic of Gratitude is based on the Holy Scriptures, Mathew 13:12 (Yeshua's words)
"For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him".
Whoever has gratitude will be given more, and he or she will have an abundance. Whoever does not have gratitude, even what he or she has will be taken from him or her.
"Gratitude is a vaccine, an antitoxin, and an antiseptic" - John Henry Jowett (1864-1923), Presbyterian Preacher and Writer
The degree to which we are grateful to our health is the exact degree our health will increase. Ungratefulness decreases our health. This means our energy, vitality, immune system, clarity of thought and every other function of the body is weakened. Being grateful also eliminates stress and tension (the root of many diseases) in the body and mind.
THE MAGICAL HEALTH PRACTICE
This practice involves being thankful for the parts of our body and senses and why we should be thankful for them. While thanking God for them, I feel truly grateful for each part of my body and the health I receive.
1.
'Thank you for my legs and feet'
I anointed my legs and feet with Lily of the Valley anointing oil, sincerely thanking God for blessing me with two perfect and health legs. I am deeply thankful for all the things I do using my legs, the leg as my transportation, the ability to walk and where I am now because of my legs. I thought of times in the past when I could have broken my legs but that did not happen. Thank you. I also repented and asked God to forgive me for using my legs and feet to carry me to do evil. Thank you God for forgiving me.
2. '
Thank you for my arms, hands, and fingers'
I repeated what I did in #1 above here. I wept before God and sought his forgiveness for using my hands in the wrong way, especially belting Lydia. This will NEVER happen again. God help me. I also repented for stabbing Stone with scissors and knife. Thank you God for forgiving me.
3. '
Thank you God for my amazing sense of taste'
Repeated what I did in # 1 above, being thankful for my sense of taste.
4. '
Thank you for my wonderful sense of smell'
Repeated what I did in # 1 above, being thankful for my sense of smell.
5. '
Thank you for my precious sense of touch'
Repeated what I did in # 1 above, being thankful for my sense of touch.
6. '
Thank you for my eyes that enable me to see everything'
Repeated what I did in # 1 above, being thankful and appreciate my eyes. I am deeply grateful that without it I would never see the beauty of all that is around me.
7. '
Thank you for my hearing'
Repeated what I did in # 1 above, being thankful for my ears, its function and the ability for me to hear.
8.
'Thank you God for my amazing brain and beautiful mind'
Repeated what I did in # 1 above, being thankful for my amazing brain and beautiful mind. Without the brain, all the senses can not function. Thank you.
9.
'Thank you cells and organs for working perfectly'
Being thankful for the trillions of cells working non-stop 24/7 for the health of my body and life. The internal organs, liver, kidney, bladder, lungs, stomach, intestines, etc, that continuously work to filter, cleanse and renew the body automatically.
10.
'Thank you for my strong and healthy heart'
The most important organ that governs the life of every other organ and keeps life flowing. Anointed my heart. Repented for harboring evil roots of bitterness, anger, envy, jealousy and other evil in my heart. Uprooted every root of evil, as I take my authority in Jeremiah 1:10, Luke 10:19, and cast it off. Asked the Holy Spirit to fill my heart with love, joy peace.
On a card I wrote in big bold letters:
THE GIFT OF HEALTH IS KEEPING ME ALIVE
I put the card in a easy to see place where at least on four separate occasions, when I see the words, I read them slowly, one word at a time and feel as grateful as I can for the precious gift of health.
COUNTING MY BLESSINGS
I repeated Day 1 gratitude exercise and counted 10 of my blessings.
MAGIC ROCK
Before I slept, I held the Magic Rock in my hands and said the magic word '
thank you' for the best thing that happened to me toda - my daughter not going to school to take me to the hospital and helping with shopping.
Gratefully yours,
Kejanny
